That's because more than one million men around the world are growing fabulously groomed moustaches in the name of prostate cancer and testicular cancer awareness.
The movement is called Movember, and will continue raising money and awareness for men's health issues until the end of the month.
Movember started with a group of guys in Australia, and since 2004, this important health campaign has raised $174 million to help men learn and take responsibility for their personal health.
Historically, this has been a big problem for men, who generally don't visit the doctor unless they're really sick. The Movember website wrote, studies show that many men don’t get regular health checks for the following reasons:
1. Fear it will lead to a hospital visit
2. Embarrassed to discuss their health issues
3. Find it too hard to see a doctor because they can’t fit it into their schedule
4. Just can’t be bothered making an appointment
Hopefully, these statistics will start to change, all thanks to a group of men, and their moustaches.
