So why wouldn't the Republic of Colombia step up its efforts to attract Americans and foreigners to take advantage of travel and a little plastic surgery on the side?
In fact they are breaking ground for a medical tourist center in March 2012. The hope is to gain recognition as a medical tourist destination and add to the economy in that region.
