Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine have discovered a way to train infection-fighting T-cells to become an army of cancer "serial killers".
A year after this remarkable treatment, 2 of the patients have no sign of cancer, and the third's condition as improved. Scientists hope these results will bring them more funding, so they can possibly use the same technique on other types of cancer.
