Sleep Apnea Gets a Slam Dunk From Shaq

For many years, Shaquille O'Neal snored, and then stopped breathing in his sleep, which caused him to wake up multiple times throughout the night. That is, until his girlfriend Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander noticed his problem, and convinced Shaq to see a sleep specailist at Harvard Medical School.

Shaq was diagnosed with sleep apnea, a common sleep disorder that affects about 18 million people in the United States alone.
