Young men may start experiencing hair loss as early as their late teens or early 20's, but this doesn't mean they should inquire about hair transplant surgery quite yet.
According to U.K. based hair restoration specialist Dr. Bessam Farjo, young men should wait until around the age of 30 for hair transplant surgery; if not, they could face some disastrous results later on.
He told BBC, “If you have the surgery too early and you go bald, you don’t have enough hair to keep chasing the hair loss. You can end up with isolated patches of hair. You could end up with hairy temples and a bald forehead, which isn’t pretty, but is also hard to fix.”
