New Study Indicates Bone marrow Drug Helps Bald Men Regrow Hair

Is there a promising cure for alopecia areata — a condition in which hair is lost from some or all areas of the body, usually from the scalp. The antidote could already exist and may be loitering on the market as a treatment for a bone marrow disease.

Researchers at Columbia University Medical Center have discovered a drug that entirely restored hair in mice within four to five months of treatment — as published in the journal Nature Medicine.
